Wednesday, February 1, 2012. My book has FINALLY arrived! I have been waiting for this day for quite a while now. This challenge starts this week. Will be making the first recipe hopefully on Saturday. Then I will blog on Tuesday. While looking through the book, I realized I have bitten off a HUGE chunk! Thursday, January 12, 2012.

I have a lot to say. On Tuesday, the photos of a Slaty-legged Crake have been circulated on a Facebook page. A friend kindly tipped the location of this bird. I consider rails and crakes interesting because of their appearance and behaviour. Many species of rails and crakes look alike, with a rounded body, long toes and bands on the underpart. They walk tactfully in the understory vegetation. It was so friendly that it walked towards the photographers. Two spotted doves were around.

Northern House Martin 22 DEC 2015. Thanks to John Allcock again who found these Northern House Martin Delichon urbicum lagopodum, which is my 433th in HK. 1 Large, clean white rump and upper-tailed covert. 2 Large, clean white vent and lower-tailed covert. Narcissus on PT 13 DEC 2015. The final answer for me is just a nominated Narcissus Flycatcher Ficedula narcissina narcissina. A female Fujian Niltava Niltava davidi. Why not a green pigeon.
